Stamp Out Hunger with CUMAC (Center of United Methodist Aid to the Community)
CUMAC in Paterson is the largest food distribution program in Passaic County, serving over 3000 persons monthly. CUMAC also offers a thrift shop, a job training program, and maintains a warehouse for other food pantries in northern New Jersey. Our church participates in their anti-hunger program throughout the year. You can always bring non-perishable food, clothing, household items, shoes and other goods to church – which is transported to CUMAC each week. A special offering is taken periodically for CUMAC’s ministry and dozens of Christmas wishlists for children in the Paterson area are lovingly filled by generous elves in our congregation each December. We also conduct a special school supply collection in the Fall, hats, coats, scarves, and mittens for the winter, and donate over 50 Easter baskets for children in need each Spring.
